ABOUT The First Nations Film Festival
What are the Objectives of the FNFF?
FanForce TV is thrilled to present the inaugural First Nations Film Festival, a celebration of the rich cultural heritage of Indigenous film and art. Our festival is committed to being an important part of community-led discussions during Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC week, and our objectives are clear: to showcase important First Nations creative work, to drive discussion of critical First Nations issues and themes, and to make films accessible to as many people as possible.
At the heart of the First Nations Film Festival is our unwavering commitment to providing a platform for First Nations creative teams and audiences to discuss films and important issues. We understand that the stories told in Indigenous cinema are powerful tools for driving social change and promoting cultural understanding. In addition to driving discussion within our community, the festival aims to drive revenue back to First Nations content creators and fundraising for relevant First Nations-led initiatives, causes, and organisations, helping to make a real difference in people's lives.
We welcome the thoughts and involvement of the community in all aspects of the festival. Whether you have a film you'd like to submit, an idea for a discussion panel, or a cause that you think would benefit from our support, we want to hear from you. Please reach out to us at contact@fan-force.com to get involved and be a part of this important event.
Join us for an unforgettable experience as we celebrate the power of Indigenous cinema and storytelling. The First Nations Film Festival is more than just a film festival - it's an opportunity for audiences to engage with important themes and ideas, to learn from one another, and to build stronger connections between communities. Together, we can make a difference and create a brighter, more inclusive future for all. We can't wait to see you there!

To summarize:
Can I purchase 1 ticket and screen to a group?
If you wish to screen the films to a group, you will need to purchase tickets plus a screening license via the Bulk purchase section. Licenses start at $300 and vary depending on the size of your group. This is to ensure that the filmmakers and rights holders are fairly compensated for their work when it is screened to a larger audience.
When making your purchase, it is important to select the correct number of people attending your screening, as well as the appropriate License for the size of your group. The available License options are:
If your group size exceeds 500 people, please contact us directly at fanforcetv@fan-force.com to discuss a customized licensing solution.
Once your payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation email containing the codes needed to access your selected film(s) for screening. These codes will allow you to watch the films during the designated streaming window for the festival.
Please note that purchasing a group screening license does not extend the streaming window; the films will still only be available during the specified dates for National Reconciliation Week (May 27 to June 10, 2024) and NAIDOC Week (July 7 to July 21, 2024).
If you have any further questions about group screenings or licensing, don't hesitate to reach out to our team at fanforcetv@fan-force.com. We'll be happy to assist you in making the necessary arrangements for your group.
