Virtual Indigenous Film Festival NAIDOC 2022

The Virtual Indigenous Film Festival (VIFF) NAIDOC Edition is an annual event that takes place during NAIDOC Week. Our mission is to showcase First Nations stories and voices, and invite inclusive and open discussion throughout this important week.


This year's NAIDOC edition will feature four award-winning Australian films; Araatika: Rise Up!, Off Country, Wash My Soul in the River's Flow and Where the Water Starts. Each of the films will have a Virtual Screening at 1pm and 7pm on their scheduled day.

What is VIFF NAIDOC EDITION 2022?

VIFF is the Virtual Indigenous Film Festival!


The Virtual Indigenous Film Festival takes place annually on FanForce TV to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples during NAIDOC Week.


FanForce TV presents a collection of Indigenous stories that will screen throughout NAIDOC Week. Each film has two screening time options, 1pm and 7pm AEST. This gives organisations, groups and communities the opportunity to watch together in person, or virtually from home.

VIFF NAIDOC EDITION 2022 will be streaming on FanForce TV during NAIDOC Week, 4 - 8 July.

How can I watch?

Register for any Virtual Screening event or grab an All Access Pass, then come back at the event start time to watch the film. Simply login to your FanForce TV account and visit the Virtual Screening page to get access to the film.


When can I watch the films?

Each film will be live streamed at the given date and time listed on the Virtual Screening page. As these events are live streamed, you will not be able to access any playback options (rewind, fast forward etc.) if you miss any part of the event. So be sure to arrive on time!

Can I watch the films later?


You can also purchase the ALL ACCESS PASS to receive access to all VIFF Virtual Screenings.

Can I buy tickets for someone else?

Absolutely! We have Gift Cards available for purchase if you would like to gift a ticket or an All Access Pass.
